I got this e-mail:

"Thank you for submitting to The Green Flash. Unfortunately, we have decided to publish your piece. That means you're stuck with us. Yay!

We're releasing the first issue of The Green Flash on April 16th at Town Hall Pub. We'd love to see you there; in fact, we even want you to read your piece. If you're willing and able to do so, please get back to us as soon as possible. We plan to have a monthly reading series, so if you don't get to read at this one, don't fret, there's always next time.

Here's all the info you need:

Town Hall Pub
3340 N. Halsted (right in the heart of Boystown)
Wednesday, April 16th, 9:00 PM

The Pub is 21 and over, but if you're not of age, we think we can get you in if you're reading. You'll probably get big X's with permanent marker on your hands and you'll probably be shooed out after the reading is over, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

As a contributer, you can pick up your free copy of The Green Flash at the reading. If you can't make it (tear), send us your address and we'll ship one over.

Once again, thank you and congratulations!

TGF Editors"

And then I celebrated my first victory. :)
